Shashwata Samvatsara Seva - 2022

Dear Devotees,

Our Sri Venkata Krishna Kshetra (SVK) Temple, part of the Sujnana Religious & Charitable Foundation (SRCF) has been meeting the religious and cultural needs of the Hindu Community in the Phoenix Metro area since 2000.  We are the temple of choice for many and have maintained our tradition of Annadana (free Maha Prasadam) from the beginning.

New year 2022 is coming upon us soon in the next few days. We do hope that by the grace of Lord Sri Venkateshwara the pandemic is behind us and we all can resume normal activities. However, till such time we need to continue to exercise caution by following all the recommended health guidelines.

We request devotees to avail of annual seva opportunities. Devotee donations continue to be one of the main sources of income for the Temple. We do generate funds from Archanas and Homas, but this does not meet the expenses of such a large Temple for its day-to-day operations. We are sensitive to the current situation and do understand individual situations are different. We request your generous contributions towards “Shashwata Samvatsara Seva” to enable Temple to continue to offer Sevas. In turn you will have the benefit of a Seva offered in your name during the New Year.

or please send checks payable to “SRCF”, Address – 615 S Beck Ave, Tempe AZ – 85281

We are a 501 (C) (3) organization and your donations are tax deductible. Please keep SVK Temple in your mind as you finalize your year-end taxes. SVK Temple is here for all your needs. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Face Masks are Mandatory in the Temple

Namaste Devotees

We have opened up the temple on a limited basis but are cognizant of the fact that Arizona is a hot spot for COVID-19. Hence we need to continue to take precautions and will continue the current arrangement for a little while more. We had mandated that all visitors to the temple should wear face face masks and most visitors abide by these rules. Unfortunately some don’t.

The City of Tempe has mandated the use of masks in public. Given that the temple is open to public, visitors to the temple are required to wear masks. We request you to wear a mask. If not, you might be asked to leave, please do not make it difficult for the temple staff.  This simple activity will go a long way in containing the virus and getting the temple back to normal.  Again, please visit the temple only if you feel comfortable in doing so. Thank you.

Current Temple Hours:

Sunday & Monday     – 5 PM to 6 PM

Tuesday to Saturday – 5 PM to 7 PM

Humble Request

Please Help Your Temple

We hope you all are staying safe and following the CDC guidelines in these challenging times. As you are aware, in interest of the safety of our devotees, we made a decision to close the Temple to the public due to the Corona Virus (COVID-19).

The unintended consequence of this decision is that our revenues have taken a massive hit. Over 85% of our revenue comes from services in the temple or Poojas at home and this source has dried up. Similarly, donations from devotees visiting the temple has also stopped. We are now in a tremendous cash crunch and need to meet our mortgage expenses, utility bills etc. We need your generous donation like never before. Please also forward this to your friends who may not be on our mailing list as we need every bit of help we can get.  Every dollar counts.  And your donations are tax deductible.

You can make your donations online : CLICK HERE

or please send checks payable to “SRCF“, Address – 615 S Beck Ave, Tempe AZ – 85281

Please help us.
